I noticed that you can only can select/add an existing patient from a referral when adding a new patient via the calendar and no where else. The calendar is the only area when selecting referral from an existing client you’re then able to find that client. I understand why this is the case for Leads, but I think it would be great if we can have the option to select an existing client, and therefore auto send the thank you email, in areas such as contacts or from the client card itself. So if it comes to light after adding a patient to the system that they were referred by can existing patient you can follow this function on the client card as well and have the thank you template auto send.
