:tada: New features introduced

  1. Self-pay as a payment method

We’ve introduced self-pay as a payment method, enabling you to take remote payments in just two clicks. Whether for an invoice or deposit, it’s ideal if your clinic or clients don’t use online bookings, as well as for clients experiencing card issues who may need to pay via Apple Pay, Google Pay, or have someone else handle the payment.

:speech_balloon: Improvements to existing features

  1. Invoice editing improvements

We’ve added the ability to edit more details on invoices. You can now change the biller, update the payment method (cash, card, and custom payment types only; Stripe and pre-paid payment methods cannot be edited), adjust the payment date and time, and modify the tax rate.

:rocket: Feature development updates

Additionally, this week we’ve worked on the following new features (which are currently still under development):

  • Memberships
  • Chargebacks and disputes
  • API integration and marketplace
  • Timesheets and Wages
  • Payroll
  • Commissions
  • AI into Treatment Notes
  • Cancellation policy
  • Payment policy and payment on booking
  • Point of Sale in the Pabau iOS app

The implementation of the new Point of Sale feature and other enhancements in the iOS app are complete and will launch next week—more details will be shared soon!

:gear: Improvements being worked on

  1. Enhancements to gift voucher purchasing

We’re adding the option for clients to purchase gift vouchers for others through the online booking portal, along with an improved design for the ‘view voucher’ modal recipients see.

  1. Expanded options in the template text builder

We’re adding more editing and formatting tools to the text builder under Marketing & Communication > Templates. This will make editing email and letter templates simpler and more customizable, with new options to add colors, images, and more.

  1. Introducing attachments for standard client notifications

We’re adding the ability to include attachments in standard client notifications, such as confirmations and reminders.

  1. Yearly subscription option

We’re adding an option on the Subscription page that allows you to upgrade to a yearly subscription on any plan.

  1. Enhanced design for the notification section in the appointment booking menu

We are updating the design of the notification section in the appointment booking menu by adding tiles with icons and tooltips for client notifications, including confirmations, reminders, precares, and feedback and payment requests.

  1. Improved visibility of shift notes

Shift notes will be easier to manage, thanks to a new note icon. So far, notes have only been visible in the Day view of the calendar, when there are only a few staff members. The new note icon saves space and ensures notes are always accessible, even in clinics with larger teams.

  1. Edit appointment menu in Month view

Editing appointments is not currently possible in the Month view of the calendar. Once the work is completed, you’ll be able to edit appointments just as you can in the Day or Week view.
