:speech_balloon: Improvements to existing features

  1. Create gift vouchers via POS

You can now create custom one-off vouchers for specific clients in the Point of Sale, without having to create them first in Marketing > Gift vouchers.

  1. Custom discounts

We implemented a new ‘Custom’ discount option that is now available in the discount dropdown in POS. With the new ‘Custom’ option in the discount dropdown, you’re no longer limited to preset discounts, you can enter any discount amount on the spot.

  1. Admins and owners can now delete any notes and alerts in the client card

With this improvement, admins and owners are now are able to edit and delete alerts and client notes left by other staff members in the client card.

  1. Improved Self-pay functionality on edit invoice page

The Self-pay feature on the edit invoice page now mirrors the full functionality available on POS, offering a more consistent experience. A modal pop-up will be shown upon clicking the status button in the header, allowing users to send paylinks via email or SMS to clients, with the invoice status updating accordingly once payment is received.

  1. Improved client merge functionality with manual merge option

The client merge feature now allows users to manually search for and merge client records.

  1. Export to CSV & Excel for shared reports

The functionality to export shared reports to CSV or Excel has been implemented, ensuring the same export options available on custom and predefined reports are now available on shared reports as well.

  1. Prevented completing appointment when sending invoice

The “Auto-complete appointment status” setting has been reintroduced in Pabau 2, allowing users to control whether the appointment is automatically marked as complete after an invoice is generated, with the default setting remaining disabled.

  1. Improved error messages and tooltips for Client Notifications in new appointment modal

The error messages and tooltips in the New Appointment modal have been updated to display relevant information when a client is missing an email address or mobile number, ensuring accurate communication.

  1. Pin form feature implemented

You can now mark forms as favorites by pinning them, making it easier to access frequently used forms without searching through the entire list. For more information, follow this guide.
