New features introduced
- Revamped iOS app
The Pabau Go iOS app has undergone such a significant revamp that it feels like a brand-new app. Here’s what’s new:
- Upgraded journey view now shows both payment and appointment statuses.
- Checkout button added to the journey screen for quick access.
- Improvements to the client card interface for a smoother user experience.
- Ability to pay using the internet terminal, just like in the web app.
- Appointment checkout: launch the POS directly from the calendar and complete the appointment payment.
- New prepaid payment methods, including payment via package sessions, gift vouchers, loyalty points, and account balance.
- Stock deduction feature: when selling products, stock is automatically adjusted, plus support for negative stock quantities.
This is just the beginning of the app update, and we’ll be sharing more improvements soon.

Improvements to existing features
- Wallet improvements
The Wallet now shows when a client’s card payment is declined, and tax information is included in the payout summary.
- Colored keywords in search results
Now, when using the main search bar, Point of Sale search, or the calendar, you’ll easily spot why a client appears in the results—the searched text is highlighted in blue.
- Rescheduled appointment icon in the client card
You can now see which appointments were rescheduled, thanks to the new reschedule icon in the client card.

Additionally, this week we’ve worked on the following new features (which are currently still under development):

Improvements being worked on
- Enhancements to gift voucher purchasing
We’re adding the option for clients to purchase gift vouchers for others through the online booking portal, along with an improved design for the ‘view voucher’ modal recipients see.
- Expanded options in the template text builder
We’re adding more editing and formatting tools to the text builder under Marketing & Communication > Templates. This will make editing email and letter templates simpler and more customizable, with new options to add colors, images, and more.
- Introducing attachments for standard client notifications
We’re adding the ability to include attachments in standard client notifications, such as confirmations and reminders.
- Yearly subscription option
We’re adding an option on the Subscription page that allows you to upgrade to a yearly subscription on any plan.
- Enhanced design for the notification section in the appointment booking menu
We are updating the design of the notification section in the appointment booking menu by adding tiles with icons and tooltips for client notifications, including confirmations, reminders, precares, and feedback and payment requests.
- Improved visibility of shift notes
Shift notes will be easier to manage, thanks to a new note icon. So far, notes have only been visible in the Day view of the calendar, when there are only a few staff members. The new note icon saves space and ensures notes are always accessible, even in clinics with larger teams.
- Edit appointment menu in Month view
Editing appointments is not currently possible in the Month view of the calendar. Once the work is completed, you’ll be able to edit appointments just as you can in the Day or Week view.
